GANESHA AND SUCCESS
Come Ganesh Chaturthi and the whole of India gets immersed in welcoming and worshipping the Elephant headed God, our beloved Ganesha. With every Ganesha festival come prayers , with prayers come hope,
a hope that all our obstacles / challenges would be overcome with the grace of Lord Ganesha. But a very straightforward question is whether its happened regularly and always or for some, not happened at all. Certainly if such is the case we need to look into reaching a correct methodology to go about it so that we are able to get the most of grace in these 11 days.
God (Ganesha) is personal, its inside, the symbolic representation is outside
Over the years this has been commercialized so much that many have lost the true essence of devotion. Its become more about glamour, cultural programs, loudspeaker celebrity visits, songs, etc. On one side a little entertainment adds value to the festivities but when it becomes the only goal, fulfilling vested interests, we drift away from our Lord. And when we drift away from the Lord we move away from solutions. A few years back when I was involved with the Oneness university, we organized a free healing program during Ganesh Chaturthi. During this time, a group of us healers would sit in the pandal and give healing to each and every devotee who came there for Ganesh Darshan. The results and response was so good that as word of mouth spread, people doubled in 2 days time, but at this stage the organizers thought otherwise and stopped the healings abruptly. How much so ever we tried to convince them that people are benefitting they never budged and a good work ended midway. We attach so much importance to the external representation of the Divine that we have forgotten that God is within us and He is our own, we might require certain people initially to get us to Him, but ultimately its our own journey which only we have to walk and no one else can do it for us.
So, today lets be independent, pray and take it in our own hands to remove the obstacles from our paths with the Divine grace. Let this Ganesh Chaturthi be not just one more big festival, it should bring loads of grace to change our lives.
Following is a specially channeled obstacle removing process to help us remove obstacles from our path.
How to pray to remove obstacles
Generally everybody prays ,”God give me good health, wealth and relationship etc:” But this is a generic prayer.
Our prayers should always be specific, how much wealth, what health etc:
Similarly when we ask Ganpati to remove obstacles ,we pray generically.
But a correct method of prayer is always when we recognize the obstacles and pray specifically.
Say if you want success in business , look within and find out in what way you are creating an obstacle to reach that success. It can be procrastination, fear, missing out on opportunities, etc-
In relationships, it can be hurts, ego etc-
Let us find out our obstacles
Sit in solitude.
Close your eyes, select any one area where you want success.
Look within and recognize what are the obstacles you are facing because of yourself in that particular issue.
Figure and write at least 5 obstacles that are happening because of you. (please note- not what others are creating. It is about you, when you pray for your obstacles, its about only you, do not look into others, if its your obstacle, its in your domain to sort out)
Let me give you ‘ll one example so you’ll formulate on those lines looking within you and write on your own, because this is within you, you know better.
For career, business which one person just recognized so well-
Procrastination, laziness, lack of self belief, lack of self worth, fear of failure, fear of repeating past failure, lack of opportunity or fear of communication.
Introspect similarly and put in as many as you can.
Obstacle removing and Success ritual
Place a statue of Ganpati, or a picture or if you have kept Ganpati in your house then at the same altar keep 2 candles, one black in front and another golden behind it.
First start with your prayer to Ganpati which you have already written on paper to remove your obstacles (whatever you have listed out, which is hindering your success to health, wealth, relationship take any one area of your life)
Also write in that paper asking Ganpati to also remove any hidden or unknown obstacles from your outer environment.
Keep ready little black sesame (til)seeds about 8/10
Now say the spell given below and light the black candle.
Obstacles, Obstacles, clear my way,
Release my obstacles and find me a way,
Let my obstacles be a turning stone to success,
Lighting my way to clearly witness my success
Light the corner of paper with written prayer from the Black candle and place it to burn in a metal vatti (utensil) or anything.
As it is burning put the sesame seeds on the paper and repeat the obstacle spell.
See that Til seeds are completely burnt.
Once completely burnt, light the golden candle.
Now happily as if you have already got success in whatever you asked, recite the following 3 times:
Oh success! At last I got you
By the grace of Almighty Ganesha,
I am prosperous, I am abundant,
I am happy, joyful, in the seventh heaven dancing, dancing with joy,
For success- I achieved you! I achieved you.!
There is a smile on my face, help me to spread this smile of success to others as well.
Oh success! I look upon you as my friend
Who carries loads and loads of success for self and others.
Thank you for being with me. I love you, I love you
After this celebrate success by chanting the channeled joyous sound given by Ganpati ‘He He He He He’
You can do this ritual for 1 day, 3 days, 5 days or 7 days.
The black candle has to be burnt fully on the 1st day. The golden candle you can snuff off and use for as many days as you want, but last day let it burn fully
Only success part you have to do on other days. Obstacle part complete it on day 1.
This ritual should be completed within Ganpati days.
Do not use tea light candles.Do not blow off the candle. Snuff the candle with a spoon or anything
Now, For God’s sake, let go and let God work…
The ritual done, now be open for the solution in whatever form it comes, the Divine is the greatest neuroscientist, He knows what points to activate in our brains to get what results, so whatever happens thereon will be a process by the Divine to get you there. Circumstances will happen based on this prayer, so be ready to face whatever comes your way. It can be falling down where the Lord is laying the foundation or can be you reach someone who can help you to resolve your crisis or maybe you have to spend some amount somewhere to get rid of your issue or you find a good Doctor who has the capacity to heal you, there can be many such possibilities which will emerge from this extremely strong prayer and ritual.
Caution– Do not stop your effort or your search, the Divine will not work for you, He will only open and show you the way, you have to walk the path. Many people feel if I have prayed the Divine will do everything, its here that they falter, the efforts have to be put by us.
So, Lets get immersed in the devotion and connection with the obstacle remover, pray for grace to flood our lives and on our part be open to everything the Elephant headed God does to help us fulfill our goals and dreams. The path may not be easy, but He for sure knows which is the shortest and easiest one for us, so lets surrender ourselves at His Lotus feet, for our victory lies in our surrender to the Divine.
